Crepe paper Poinsettias and Iced Queen Wreath

Hello everyone!!!
Today I would like to show you how to make your own crepe (tissue) paper Poinsettia flowers. As you know, or don't, Poinsettia is particularly well known for its red and green foliage and it is widely used in Christmas floral displays. So why not trying to make your own paper beautiful Poinsettias that you can use as a gift, wreath or Christmas tree decoration. So in today's tutorial I will show you step by step how to make your paper Christmas flower and also I will show you where I used it as a decor.

For Poinsettia flower you need : crepe or tissue paper of red color preferably, yarn, scissors, glue and glitter.

First start with choosing your crepe paper or tissue paper (might be even a napkin), preferably red color. Cut out a square and fold the paper into a triangle 3 times

Then mark with a pen the shape of the petals with center in the fold and cut it

That should be the shape of each layer of the flower

Pull apart all layers of petals

Place them all on top of each other so that all tips can be seen

Fold the flower in 2 and punch hole and string through hole a twine or yarn or even a ribbon

Glue it in the center and sprinkle some glitter on it to add more festive accent 

And here you go! Your Poinsettias are ready to go on

You can use it on your wrapped package as a gift topper

Or add some leaves and create you unique Christmas flower display

Or use it as a main decoration for your Christmas Wreath, as I did!

So here is my Red Iced Queen Christmas Wreath with crepe paper Poinsettias that look very good on it.

Supplies I needed for the wreath are: polystyrene round shape, red yarn for wrapping around the shape, plastic snowflakes, wooden Christmas decorations like small snowflakes, glue, scissors, ribbon, glass red and white baubles and artificial silver leaves.

Baby Blue and Pink Christmas Wreath

Hello everyone!!!
Winter is here and Christmas is just around the corner. Today I would like to show you how I made The Baby Blue and Pink Christmas Wreath. This time I chose this nice combination of blue and pink colors. The skeleton (the base) of my wreath for this time is made of dried pine branches I gathered in one of the local parks, so the smell, the colors, the baubles and glitter on it will create a nice holiday atmosphere in your house. The wreath is perfect both indoor or outdoor, also its lightened by led battery operated fairy lights, so it will be a great decoration day and night.    
All you need is: pine or any other branches, yarn, scissors, baubles (pink and blue/glittery or matte or shiny), satin ribbon, paper ribbon, led lights, hot glue to stick them all together and some pine cones that you can find in nearest park.

P.S. Shine bright like my Christmas Wreath!:)

Start with wreaths shape first, gather some branches, bring them home, bring all your helpers to the process of making it (like I did) :)

Cut them to the size you need and make two parts of the skeleton, it's the easiest way to make your round shape

Link them together with some yarn or thread of the same color as branches so they are not seen and add some more branches if you think it has not enough volume

              Take your Christmas Tree decorations, which in my case are baubles of blue and pink color 

Take some paper ribbon of the same (blue and pink) color and make a fluffy accent on your wreath on one side

Add some baubles on top of the ribbon and then wrap the wreath in led lights, I used some warm yellow color battery operated lights

Make some bauble bunches and don't forget about your satin ribbon bows

Glue them all together, add bows, add natural pine cones and here you go! your Christmas Wreath is ready to go on your front door
